ABOUT
Trained in the fine arts at the prestigious Viewpoint School in Los Angeles and Darlington School in Rome, Georgia, Hannah Jones currently attends Jacksonville State University; she is working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. At JSU, Hannah is actively involved in the Birmingham Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Design (AIGA), Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, the JSU Student Activity Council, as well as, serving as a Student Ambassador for the School of Arts and Humanities. She is also currently a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.
Hannah has participated in numerous juried art shows, having won “Best in Foundations,” “Best in Drawing,” “Best in Sculpture” “Best in Ceramics,” and “Third Best in Show” in the JSU Student Juried Art Show (2018-2020). Additionally, she was featured in the Creative Quarterly Journal Issue 61 (2021) as a Winner and Runner-up for Graphic Design. Furthermore, her designs were recognized in WORK Juried Graphic Design Exhibition (2020), Glitch Mississippi State University National Juried Design Student Competition (2020), and Flux Design Competition (2020).
While enrolled as a full-time, graphic-design student, Hannah is also employed part-time at Randall Reilly as a graphic designer. In addition, Hannah has freelanced as a graphic designer, illustrating children’s books and designing graphics for documentary films. Hannah enjoys the arts: playing cello, going to museums, and pushing herself to develop as an artist. Upon graduation, Hannah would like to work at an advertising or design agency.
